We're excited to announce a new feature: Smart Links in Lix.li. A single short link can now send different visitors to different destinations — based on their country, device, operating system, or browser language.

You set a default destination and add rules along the lines of "if this condition, go to this address": for example, "iOS → App Store," "Android → Google Play," "Germany → German site version." Rules are checked in order, and the first matching one applies — if none match, the visitor lands on the default destination. You can check your setup right away in the built-in tester, before the link even goes live.

This removes the need to create a separate link for every country, platform, or device type — especially useful when promoting mobile apps or working with an international audience. The feature is available on the Premium plan and pairs well with Deep Links — the Smart Link picks the right destination, and the deep link opens it directly in the app.
