We're excited to announce a new feature: Deep Links in Lix.li. A short link can now open not a mobile website, but the right app directly — Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Spotify, Telegram, and other services — if it's installed on the recipient's device. Previously, clicking a link to an Instagram profile from a smartphone often opened a stripped-down mobile version of the site rather than the app that was already installed. Deep Links remove that extra step: the link figures out on its own whether to open the app at the right screen or the browser, if the app isn't there. Setup is simple: just paste in a link to the content you want inside the app, and Lix.li will suggest turning on in-app opening for you. The feature is available on the PRO and Premium plans.
